  1. Hi Len,

it’s been a while since we’ve exchanged e-mail. Thanks for your analysis of SR-111, I’ve been following this accident and accident report over the years and to me it remains to be one of the most frustrating accidents. If I read the information right, and you’ve basically said the same, those guys have done everything right, but they still were doomed. I think that’s the worst thing that can happen to any pilot.

Please keep up the good work, I’m always happy to see a new flying pilot podcast show up.

  2. Hi Len! I’ve been listening to your podcast just from the past three episodes but I find it VERY interesting and useful. I’d like to know if you would like to talk something about the Microsof Flight Simulator environment how the things have changed since the MSFS98 when I particulary started my pilot life. And what I really mean is; There’s a lot of pilots here in my area (Mexico city) who have started their carrers as pilots from being seated on a PC handling a very simple Cessna 172 on Meigs Field and now some of them have climbed to some of the major airlines as Mexicana or Aeromexico, others as me, just keep flying small aircraft but still loving aviation. And I don’t know if you have an idea of what people have done with this simulation software, they now have virtual airlines, virtual ATC systems, they simulate aircraft like 767, A320 and many many others with an increidible level of detail, they have to do some tests and get some awards, all of this now became as real as some home-made multy display simulators made with scrapped 737 cockpits… I could keep telling lots of stuff about this but would be better if you check it out by your own when you have some time to spare.. about the aircraft you can visit http://www.flight1.com or http://www.phoenix-simulation.com and about the ATC you can take a look to http://www.ivao.aero

Thanks for make our pilot lifes better, I really really think you’re doing a great job with this podcast.

    Best regards,
